Well the trip went really well. We got up early and left at 6.30am. We took our time, keeping well below the speed limit and reached Hahndorf at about 3pm (2.30 local time). Had a look around and left after about an hour and got the hotel at around 5pm.
Our hotel room is gorgeous except our bed is too soft - eeek, I hate soft beds! But it is gorgeous and we're totally knackered after spending the whole day shopping! Got some fab bargains - all by accident too. Just picked up what we wanted and it was discounted at the registers.
We all had a swim in the pool and a spa and are now veging out with achey tired muscles! Tomorrow, we are going across the road to the gardens, perhaps the museum and or the art gallery.

we really do need to catch up huh. Life gets sooooooo busy but that's no excuse is it.
I'll be posting most days I hope, we are gone till at least the 4/1/08 - maybe more if the money doesn't run out hehehe.

OMG LOL - that's so funny!
In the US you guys put your dates back to front....ie 25th December is 12/25/07 here in Oz we do it the reverse 25/12/07. Therefore what you read as the 1st April is actually the 4th January (4/1/08) - that so cracks me up!
